The Gold Coast Suns have arrived. Whatever happens in the 2nd half they have announced themselves as a serious team by taking it to one of the premiership favourites.

And it's not just because the Hawks haven't been good. The Suns playing so well is a bigger factor in the result than the Hawks playing poorly.

GCS will probably lose this game but it is still a huge effort. Most teams would have trouble being in front of Hawthorn at half time.

But the whole team looks so flat and GC are playing pretty well. Hall is impressive, and ablett is just a freak.

I think the Hawks will lift this qtr and win, but gc sure are improving rapidly

Much better game than expected. Hawthorn are giving the Suns runners a lot of space.
Hawks don't seem to want to do the hard things today & GC have a sniff. They (GC) look a lot more desperate at this point. Imagine they will get ground down but not without a chance. Lynch has been impressive.
