F*ck me, there are more experiments going on in this thread than the Island of Dr Moreau. Why don't we play Sammy as full back, Gibbo can tag, Birchall can go to FF, Litherland into the ruck, McEvoy to FB (coz he is tall and all) and we can play Poppy at CHB.

How about we structure up the best we can against this side, beat them by plenty and get the % boost we need over the Swans.

Brian Lake will be back next week. Hopefully straight into the squad rather then in the VFL. We got Geelong and Collingwood after the Fremantle match and we need him for Hawkins and Cloke. He was suspended which means he was still competing most if not all of the training sessions and he should be in good shape and ready to go.

Don't agree with positional changes but I think we'd be foolish not to rest a few of our senior players. The real season begins next week and it's then any injuries could prove catastrophic.

Totally agree no point playing Lake at Box Hill - comes in against Freo and get himself a bit of match practise to take on Hawkins and Cloke

Mitchell appears to be mostly over his flu so him for Duryea.

Sewell to come in and maybe Woody has to make hay or way.

Smith to come in for the injured Gunston.

Any other changes based on need or want to rest certain players....maybe the recently signed might deserve a break after a heavy first year in the seniors?

We'll just have to check with Tim Watson about that.
On the broadcast last weekend, he didn't think that Brian was any certainty to come straight back in the side. o_O

I like it Rusty, couple of questions, how did hill train, he looked proppy last week? Does lake look fit and rearing to go?

Thanks RH, I assume that Duryea stays if the most recently signed is to be rested.

Sounds reasonable to me Rusty. Now's not the time to chop and change, but the time for stability and strength.
