One of those players that everyone should love and enjoy watching play.

Goes at it exactly as we demand as a supporter, is pretty level headed, and one of those blokes you'd love to run in to at a BBQ and have a beer with.

Hodge is definitely my pick!

He's been my supercoach captain since Rd 1 and hasn't let me down yet so throughly deserving of it.

Well the umpires can stop him. Never polled that well.

There's no doubting his form, but as you rightly pointed out he's never polled well. And, off memory, even that is being generous.

But it begs the question: what changes to make a player poll well? Why do the umpires suddenly notice them?

I'm sure that media attention helps, and he has been in it a lot this year. For good reason too!

But, Ablett was favourite three years in a row, we all know how that went.

I love BJ, but he has had a history of being grumpy to the umps...could work against him.

I think Montagna is a good chance, Lenny also proved last year he polls well.

Essendon are traveling well at the moment please dont leave your stupidity on my thread, dont cry because your captain is not and never will be an A-grader or anywhere near as good as his father

Just out of interest, here's how the Brownlow leaderboard would sit after Round 14 if determined by the Champion Data Player Ranking scores. Just the three highest individual CPDRS from each game, with no consideration for the scoreline.

Despite the CDPR being the best all-round statistical measurement of a player's impact on the game (due to all the factors that go into it), obviously statistics aren't everything, so make of that what you will.
