he was on fire last week and with the eagles no name backline he could have a field day. darren glass has been in the best form of his (limited) career in the last couple of weeks and will probably get first shot at him. personally i don't think it will be enough.

anyone got any thoughts on this one?

such the dominance of the eagles midfield will have over essendon at subi this friday that the ball will be lucky to get down their enough for him to worry average defenders down their.

How is Essendon going to get the ball to him is the question I would be asking.WC midfield craps all over the Dons.

i'd say this would definantly apply in subi but at TD it hasnt translated into wins against undermanned essendon sides in the last 2 years.

It's all about cutting off the supply, if they don't do that I wouldn't think they could stop him, he has enjoyed playing against the eagles in the past.

Wouldnt want to get too cocky against a team of kids, would you?!? You might be surprised come Friday night...

lol the eagles can't stop lloyd unless they prevent the ball going in the bombers 50. Lloyd has an awesome record against the eagles i think he averages 5-6 against the eagles.

The eagles will struggle to stop mcphee also he's been used as midfielder, in the backline now last week at chf and he play a great game.

We may as well just save the plane fare and not go, just like we should have against Fremantle at Subiaco last year and Adelaide at AAMI earlier this year, oh yeah...

It won't be as one way as most of you think.

GIve wirrapunda a go on him sure he is a tad out of form but looking at the options for the eagels who else do they have. Glass, gasper, carrol. Wirra will match him for pace and be determinited to prove a point. Also should cut out mattys runs to.

If wirra was on him we'd have a goal every F50 entry.

it won't be Gaspar because he's out injured and Carroll isn't in the team now Hunter's back. Wirra would never play on Lloyd. Glass will get first crack and if he keeps him to 4 then he will have done well.

The otherside of the ground sheedy will put dustin fletcher back on phil matera so the eagles will need other guys to step up or bring the ball in low to matera.

What are you talking about, the eagles will have more 'kids' in their team than the bombers

Are you sure about that one???

Im pretty sure with 9 senior players out we'll take the cake with more kids.

Last time Fido kicked 3 on Fletcher, if he can do that again, he'll have a good night. Hopefully the three young talls can stand up again this week. All done well over the past month without kicking big bags. It will be tough for them though

The eagles will have 13 or possibly even 14 players under the age of 23 out there (with 9 being 21 or younger) and only two over the age of 26.

in a win or a loss, lloyd should have minimum expectations of double figures. i'd try quentin lynch on lloyd first up - heck, if lloyd can outrun him it speaks volumes about the WA cops.
