Comes down to the three Ds, I guess
Delivery- Lloyd's one player, and he relies on the midfield. With Cox and Seaby in the ruck and onballers, we need to smash the bombers at every stoppage and prevent him from getting opportunities.
Drop Back- I'd start Wirrpunda on the defensive side of the wing, and give him one assignment for the game- crumb the ball off the HBF, and whenever it looks like coming in long to Lloyd, Wirrpunda needs to get in front and cut it off, a role he tends to play well.
Darren Glass- Is one of the most underrated FBs going around, and probably the best option we've had to throw at Lloyd for about 2-3 years since McIntosh wasn't a cripple. (Actually, the third D could be 'DO NOT SELECT TRENT CARROLL) Glassy has taken some big scalps this year, most noteably Neitz, and I'm looking forward to seeing how he goes on the toughest FB assignment in the game atm.
