How do you pass the time waiting for September?

When your team is dominating, clearly the best in the business, a lock for a dream September run, and all the games between now and September feel like dead rubbers, how do you stay interested in footy?

I'm feeling like one of my hobbies has been taken away. Football just seems a touch boring. It's all just so predictable. Doesn't seem to matter who, what or where, the results just all seem to go the same way.

I'd like to hear from the Geelong fans about how they felt in their premiership window. Richmond fans too. And maybe Essendon fans if they can remember what it was like in 2000. How did you guys cope?

I’ve got a ticket to Mexico for you in September.

It’s such a shame the “best in the business” won’t be there when it counts.
Perhaps the side fell asleep at the wheel whilst waiting for September to roll around.

Poor Carlton supporters. Must be very disheartening.
I just hope they can all find the nourishment they need in the off season to get their hopes up again for next year.
Some of us are used to failure, it's business as usual.

We laugh but all Carlton needs to do is beat 2 bottom 6 side, and Freo to drop one of Giants away or port at home
It's still doable but from the look of the team at the moment it's a long shot.

Don't you look like a complete gimp once again............

There's a time & place to be gobby and it isn't at the start of July.

This is why the term May/June/July Premiers was invented. I get that the blue baggers have been starved of success for a very long time but given that their track record in the past couple of decades has been botchy to say the least, I think it would be wise for their supporters to wait for their team to be a mathematical certainty before they get ahead of themselves and spout this sort of hubris.

Enough good ideas in here to keep you busy until next April. Well played sir.

This thread is a potential Hall of Famer!

Be great if someone could put together a list of the top 10 all time post fails. We could update if from time to time but right now, for so many reasons this is probably the biggest knob thread we have experienced in here.
