Stephen Wells has generally done a good job, in one draft he brought in Corey, Spriggs, Chapman, Ling and Enright, however there have also been the Leigh Brockmans and Joel McKay's.

Our drafting of tall players (and trading for them) has been diabolical, but every club has made many a draft mistake.

The onball guys you mentioned there are IMO, one of the best midfield units going around. However, for some reason they are not delivering anything like that.

Therein lies why we want rid of Thompson, regardless of whether it's actually true or not (That the midfield is good).

Would a few cat fans like to make some retractions?

:D

It's easy to say that now, but we had every right to be deeply concerned where the club was heading, and it wasn't just us either, with those high up holding somewhat of a crisis meeting after that infamous game.

IMO, the key factor has been the introduction of Ken Hinkley and Daryn Cresswell to the coaching staff. With some fresh ideas from two men with plenty of AFL experience and great footy brains they've been able to get plenty more out of our youngsters than their predecessors could.

How things change quickly. Cats going along beautifully right now.

Just highlights the virtue of being cool in a crisis and not shooting your mouth off - howdy phatandphreaky.

Cheers
