It used to be really easy back in the day cause when I actually did change teams I just did it like you would for other clubs. And I think I had it as GWS for a couple days as a piss take once. Didn’t realise you had to contact BF for it now

If I ever completely fall out of love with Port, I'll give the league away completely.

Port earned the right to obtain a licence to enter the league, but by doing so it effectively became a league owned franchise, and it still is now, which is why 7 of 9 board members are VFL appointed puppets and the Chairman can’t be ousted.

Same applies for Suns, Crows, Giants, Swans.

The practice of AFL having the power to approve some of the directors of the AFL owned clubs is not transparent and no specifics are provided as to the process how this occurs and what governance processes are in place by the AFL to do so.
