How's Cal going at the Blues?

You guys were pretty chuffed with him pre-season and I've seen little of the Blues this season.

Cheers.
He's had problems with injuries for most of the season. He's currently in the twos finding his feet after recovering from a second serious injury. I'll be very surprised if he isn't given a call up this week after being in the best on the weekend in a victorious Bullants side.

Looking forward to Callum coming back into the team, hopefully he is fully fit now. He provides vital pace for our side and can show some form like the pre season.

Wasn't playing of a half back flank like last week was he? I expect he did well in the midfield this week.

How old is he again? Mid 20's?

He would want to veer away from injuries from now on if his in his mid 20's.

I'm still not convinced, well no-one should be yet, that he will become a good player for us. Injuries will slow him down. Hopefully he can play out the rest of the season in the ones.

Why aren't Chambers and Longmuir in the seniors???
Longmiur had two shocking games and was dropped accordingly. He also had no preseason so he was always going to struggle early on. Besides who would you rather have in your forward 50 as a third forward option, Troy Longmiur or Jarrad Waite?

Chambers has been injured.

I hate repeating myself.

injury prone :(

Really? A torn calf followed by the second injury where the Hawthorn player fell across his leg hardly qualifies as injury prone. Have another look at the tape of the last injury and you will end up wondering how he didn't do the leg for a year. As far as I am aware he had very few injuries at WCE, so where do you come up with this "injury prone" stuff?

I was under the impression that he suffered a number of soft tissue injuries when playing for the West Coast. I added those to the injuries he had copped in the opening 7 rounds for us and i came up with injury prone.
Happy Now!!! ;)

But our friend from West Coast Black JuJu had already stated that he was relatively free from injury in his time with the Eagles so i was already corrected on my injury prone statement. Thanks anyway Sydjackson!!!

give Chambers some time, he will be a crucial part of our midfield in years to come

I'm not so sure.

I'll give him time, but at the moment I think he is just another Bannister, Johnson, Bowyer.

he is no spring chicken 25-26 so he would want to get a wriggle on. I don't think he has shown anything to suggest he will be a crucial part of our midfield.

He was great to watch, from a spectator point of view, in the Wizard Cup.

He was your "super-goal specialist" if i remember correctly.

Who would you prefer lining up in the midfield
Johnson or Chambers?

Johnson easily.... Chambers is no good.

Why? Johnson has been given the oppurtunity in the middle this year and has taken it and Chambers has been injured and is yet to play a game fully fit since the Wizard Cup.

Johnson is fully fit, thats why I'd take him before Chambers.

Reckon johno in the middle, likes to get the hard balls and centre clearances. Chambers on the wing so he can use his pace to his advantage. Dont think either would take the others position, chambers would be a starter on the wing - johno may need to keep fighting for his centre spot
