I listened to an interesting conversation between The Ox and Duddo on SEN on Wednesday as to who you would rather have in your side, Bartlett or Ablett. Ox went for Ablett and of course Duddo agreed. "GOD" of course was much more spectacular, but if you needed a job done, Hungry's your Man. After watching both for years KB wins IMO, and the above article bears this out, what do you think?

I think if you count the number of premierships each of those players have you may get your answer.

Too bad he's turned out to be a senile bitter old fool outside of footy.
20 years in Darwin and you miss alot of what happens down in Melbourne. Why doesn't KB like the club and why do the supporters have little respect for him. All i know about is he was ****ed off at getting the sack,is that it or is there more to it?

he said he would never return to the club until everyone involved in his sacking was gone from the board. iirc that is now the case, but he still wont come back. his son rhett accepts anything the club gives him (like immortal status in the clubs hall of fame etc) in his stead.

I wouldn't mind KB's attitude if he'd turned his back on footy altogether a la Plugger. But no, he's feeding off his success at Tigerland with (no doubt lucrative) contracts at Fox Footy and SEN.

KB's coaching record speaks for itself: 27 wins from 88 games. That's a win-ratio worse than Spud. And he has the gall to blame the club for giving him the @rse! What did he expect us to do after four years and finishes of 10th, bottom, 11th and 13th???

As a kid I used to be huge fan, but I'm afraid I lost all respect for the guy long ago.

In KB's defence, he still supports the club on his radio show and gives us a lot of positive publicity, and far more publicity than any other club. He's still a Tiger but no doubt sick of the whole "come back to the club" thing, and realises it won't help them by doing so.
