For real?I always found the swimming rather boring anyway.
Is that just because it is something we actually win at?For real?
Have always preferred the swimming to the standard Olympic sports.
It’s in the insightful media threadAnyone else catch the incredibly insightful article on Tim Kelly's boots in the West yesterday? Riveting stuff

Spoiler alert: Kingy thinks the recruit with the biggest impact will be the All-Australian, Brownlow runner up midfielder that we traded eight high picks for. Just in case you thought he might have been going to name Tom Cutler or Billy Frampton.
8 picks? I thought it was 17?

Quality rant, would read again..Is that just because it is something we actually win at?
I generally reckon the Olympics sucks anyway. It's just a big old jamboree for sports that nobody actually follows, run by a corrupt organisation that likes to throw its weight around. End rant.
The 2016 Olympics app was amazing for that. Showed all the multi channel stuff on 7, plus basically every event in every sport. Some of them had no commentary, but you could watch anything you wanted live. The app was like $15 or something.I'd just like to be able to watch sports that don't necessarily have Australia instead of replays of puff pieces on Australian athletes.

Hopefully they'll do a similar one this year, if you have a smart TV could be even better. I watched most of it on my iPad last time and it was awesome. If you're like me and want to watch the archery or kayaking or obscure track and field events and not just the same volleyball and Australia events, check it out this year.
Now you're talkingI think Olympic coverage peaked with the John Clarke entree "The Games" followed up by Roy and HG doing "The Dream". (Sydney Olympics)
Absolute gold!
How can you not hear "hello boys" during the gymnastic routines, or the "battered sav"?
