Just to clarify.... Siren to Siren... all other things irrelevant?
Siren to siren it's (for me) just about the footy.. we don't need fire works, stupid growling noises etc... the game itself is the entertainment.

My game day experience on a whole also includes our pre match beers and catching up with mates which I thoroughly enjoy also.

Prematch beers fair enough.
What about those inconsiderates who up and leave 3x a quarter to buy beers and then go the loos?
By the 4th q, more beer is spilt climbing over us than what is imbibed.

Can always ember a group of four blokes who kept on getting beers all night long last year against freo in what was the Brownlow stand. Really started to piss people off they kept kicking people and spilling their drinks all over the shop. While everyone else was going mental winning after the kick faded to the right after the siren these four blokes were too smashed to care and we're starting a fight with a 65 year old who had that seat for well over twenty years. If you want to get drunk go to a pub.

I can see your point to a degree..but my football day experience is broader than that.... from when I lining up and the gate , get confronted with someone wanting to sell raffle tickets , having to endure the excessive barrage of advertising on the scoreboard in between game play... all these things and more dilute my siren to siren game day experience...
so if something from outside of play can dilute it for me , I expect something may be able to enhance for some attending (I doubt it will for me )... the simple day at the footy is almost done... its probably why I tend to enjoy the VFL nearly as much as a day at the AFL game. More casual , more just about the footy.
