The way Hazelwood has bowled, he isn't bowling that 'tight' anyway. I would rather attack anyway. The series is gone!

Well might as well take the not out but I see your point
Smith didn't want him showing up the batsmen anymore than he already had.
Also, sounds like they were bowling part-timers by the end just to suck up overs.
