#5426 here and I’m pretty much resigned to missing out this year. Spoke with the membership team just then and they said I’m right in the grey area at >5,000. Though under that I’d be pretty confident of landing a seat or two

Just asking for my mrs oldman ...massive eagles supporter..(to the point where he wont open those cheap and nast club coloured radios you buy because they will be worth money one day...to be fair he is 75 yr old) and i wasnt sure as to how many itw will get absorbed

Cheers mate. They emailed me on Friday saying that my window opened today. There was nothing left besides the back blocks (at least they're under cover!) I got in section 546. I didn't look at the others as it moved around to the fwd pocket but there was quite a few seats in my section. I just chose the very back row as it seemed convenient with kids.That's awesome that you managed to get something. Congrats!
We are hoping for 4 but I'm willing to sacrifice the kids

Strange thing is it looks like i can also still buy a 5 game flexi membership. Out of curiosity, I selected 4 x adult flexi membersips and took it all the way to the checkout before bailing on it. I wonder if this is a glitch as I've already paid for my full memberships.

Thats awesome! That section looks the goods to me. Im guessing the 'virtual venue' has been pretty handy when comparing seats? If u havent been to stadium before. U probably cant afford to look around much tho, the seats would be getting taken up quickly. Does it give u default seats & u can choose to take them or look around for other options?

It had the whole stadium with available sections in a different colour. You click on the section and then it takes you to a screen where you can see each individual seat and pick those that are available.

Yep - you could be right there Embers - maybe I have it wrong. I just don't want to think about paying $1,650 for a seat to be staring into the sun.
I am at the back of block 346 so hopefully will be ok and if it is sunny I will just head into the sports bar for some shade.
And we have a number of afternoon games this season (7 from memory).
Oh well - will make the best out of whatever happens. Don't want to sound like a first world whinger.

That would sort me out, but someone else would have to have another child seat to upgrade for my other half... I would hate to think of the carnage if I got a seat and she didn't, especially as her waitlist number is one below mine

Why would you have purchase two ITW memberships?

I did back in 2007 / 2008 and got seats in 2015. My partner and I joined at the same time and that entitled us to 8 memberships. We now have enough tickets for our family. Also, where my partner works are families who can never afford to go to the footy. For the last 3 years we gave 2 out of our 8 seats to people (she offers them to different ones each week) that my partner knows who simply cannot afford to go to the footy. It worked well at Subiaco because we had seats in pairs in different sections of the ground. Not sure how we will go this year.
So that was our reason for getting 2 ITW memberships all those years ago.
Have you ever seen the excitement and smile on an 11 year old child's face who has never been to a WCE game? Priceless!
