This achievement cannot be underestimated. India are so hard to beat at home and always seem to find a way when they are under pressure. A brilliant series win for New Zealand, and they do it without Williamson. Pretty comprehensively as well!

It remains one of the great mysteries how NZ always pluck and plug away against everyone in all formats.

Yet whenever they see a Baggy Green Cap they melt like a violet crumble.

We have seen them beat India in big matches in white ball cricket and WTC final in the past 6/7 years.

Now they have India on the canvas for a famous series win in India.

It’s all mental. The only time they have beaten us at home in the last 40 years was on a greentop when were were rebuilding. And they nearly bottled that too.

They’re completely demoralised. Ashwin is done. Kohli will be a walking wicket. Shami for some reason isn’t in the squad. We will belt them.
Isn’t shami injured ?

I know kolhi loves the test format and I love him for it but he should be playing a farewell series. He’s actually in danger of being dropped if he totally fails in Australia.

Im not sure if we will see another team in history win 18 series on the stretch again in our lifetime......

Its like climbing Everest. And ive been watching test cricket for a good 3 decades plus.

Do understand alot of these pitches, wickets were favourable to the home side but you need alot of things to go your way, and truncated series eg 2 matches , 3 matches makes things just tricky if you go 1 down early in a series.

And the Kiwis drawing with us in 2001 split that 10 x series stretch between 94 and 08.
