Not dismissing their performance on doctored wickets. It is sad that India with all of its resources is unable to accomplish anything in any other sport. They used to be half reasonable at hockey, but even that has passed them by.

They reached the World Cup semis in Hockey a couple of years ago, they are still a world class side on their day.

Our batting needs more depth needs to bat ugly and grind runs. We have one world class player and the rest are flaky against top notch attacks. Renshaw and Hambsombe are young lads i like their temperament.
