Rumour on DL is that he's out for the season with the same injury as last year, and "surgery isn't an option". Supposedly from a solid source. Will wait and see.

If true, that's a bigger loss than most would give it credit for. We look so much better with him in the side. IMO he was the catalyst for our insane pressure at the end of last season. He really sets the tone with his aggression.

I kind of agree. The guy falls apart when he sneezes. And to think we just signed him up for 3 years!!! Will he play again? This year is falling apart because of injuries..

We probably would have drafted Lockhart with the pick we would have got.
Alot of captain hindsight going on here, not many were keen to get rid of him after he was best on in our prelim and arguably most important in finals

I thought he did a half decent job in hop along Cassidy mode. Better than his fully fit performances. I say give him some soluble aspirin and get him out there. Once he gets fit we should drop him again
