Yeah we are pretty lucky with our first bye
Saints playing good footy and will probably roll us but we are every chance against the eagles even with our injuries
Should see Balta back around ANZAC eve or the week after if we have some luck

If there's any bright side it's this:
We probably weren't playing finals this year regardless, and definitely weren't contending for a flag, so this basically exposes more of our kids to AFL development and gets us a silver lining draft pick.

Probably get him back training in 5 weeks then he'll have a mishap or two and will be back after the bye. Then he'll be back the week after that, then the week after that until before you know it it's round 17 2026.

This is more AFL bs. They spend all their effort changing rules for aesthetics and don't focus on anything that genuinely limits injuries and makes it safer for the players. Not to mention ease of adjudication

Out of curiosity how many injuries have occurred on the MCG so far this season? I reckon there's something not quite right with the surface. I noticed a few players losing their footing in the right hand pocket at the Ponsford end yesterday.
