Good point Roughie. Especially with the change on kick out the game is moving more towards what we saw in the International Series, fast, fast, faster. I was starting to think maybe we made a bad decision.

Obviously KS finally realised what it took us, what 5 years, he's a good athlete, just not a great footballer.

I guess Beau Muston will go on the long term injured list for at least the first half of the year, and maybe Dowler too.
Gilham and Kane would obviously be ready to step up but are any of the other rookies a chance next season?

totally agree.. was meant to be a top 30odd pick in last years draft, didnt get picked up till rookie draft, but would have loved someone to give him a go..

Kirkby was unlucky, no doubt. Plenty of raw talent to work with. Problem is, Markovic was fairly consistant all year and brings oodles of leadership to the table. And Gilham is probably more AFL-ready and is probably a Clarko fave.

Hope Ruors finds a spot in the VFL, busts his ass and gets back on an AFL list.
