From the final question it sounds like Rayner and the coaches know that consistency week in week out is the biggest goal and target for improvement which is really good. Of course also mentions that there are a lot of unseen things that are really valued by his teammates beyond the simple stats.

People get annoyed when he seems to insert himself into a marking contest too many times but on more than one occasion we’ve heard that it’s definitely something that’s appreciated among the forwards.
