Not sure I'd say it was a big crowd, but anytime we get AFL action at Arden St it has a great vibe.

Would love to see us get a couple of H&A games there (standing room only setup).

Heck, they are doing it at Mount Barker, so why not Arden St?

Going to Arden St to watch football is quaint and nostalgic but I wouldn't give up reserved seats under a roof at Docklands to stand out in the rain in the middle of winter.

I can’t believe I’m saying this, but if I had to select a round one forward line from that match sim, it would be:

Sheezel - Larks - Zurhaar
Curtis - Chom - Turner (!!)
Turner is heart and soul and I sincerely hope he makes 99% of the posters on here (including me though I stuck with him for a loooooong time) eat their words. There’s a good footballer in there, we’ve all seen it, maybe we’ll see it again with a competent coach…

Was really impressed with Bergman due to the fact that he had his season cut short and started full contact training maybe about a month ago, I thought his composure was great which made him hit his targets to advantage.
Yep he's got some nice speed too. Will be even better when he gets his confidence up and can get some run into his game.

I'm quite fond of my reserved seat and access to Mountain Goat beers but Marvel has been lifeless as a Roos supporter for years (outside of the Tigers game last year).

How did Tucker go?
If we are selecting a bigger team
possibly Corr McKay Logue down back
Comben Larks plus Goldy X/ CCJ That is 7 with 3 200cm tall , yikes as they say !

and only Goldy has good slick hand skills
pretty hard to see this winning modern games of footy
and rumour has it that Cunners And JZ are playing too, like Wow 😯

anyway my point is that the rest of the team will want to be extremely mobile, skilled and great tacklers

Darcy Tucker, come on down
I saw him at training and thought, who is this bloke
im guessing a few on the list were thinking the same thing
not A good time for Taylor to have a calf injury

Good signs today

LDU started like he was going to get 60 touches
Great to have cunners back and Firing
Powell/Phillips/ Curtis have taken it up a notch
Bonar was good
McKay is a Rock
Xerri /CCJ contest for second ruck looks a hard decision- both bring different skills
Sheezel looks 3-4 yr player - goes in hard and is cool as a cucumber
Zurhaar looks half the size of last year

Great to see the boys in action today, Powell and Curtis my 2 personal biggest improvers, but plenty more to like overall.

A big thumbs up to the club, considering it was only an intraclub hitout, no dramas with the live stream, commentators actually knew most players names, a couple of good cameos in the commentary box by Liam Shiels, and Emma Kearney, and Nth website already has the full replay up to watch, well done.

CCJ has a higher ceiling.
As a pure ruck replacement for Goldy?

I don’t see it, but happy to be proved wrong re Xerri v CCJ. Not writing CCJ off, but he has to overcome a few challenges first.

Was there for the first hour or so great vibe, helpful staff but most of all it was gratifying to see that Boomer wasn’t the fittest bloke on the ground for a change 😀

I do have my doubts about our marketing department though I swear in one post on the website last weekend they had the date for family day as the 13th Feb and today on the app they’ve got our pre season match against the Dogs as Friday 4th March! I know that Friday is the 3rd of March my wedding anniversary and I love my balls too much to f that up 🤣
