In terms of meaning that Carlton is more likely to get an much needed priority pick before the AFL scraps the current system.
I don't really care about bottoming out, clearly we probably have the worst list in the comp and to be honest some of your younger players (Sporn etc) are probably not quite up to AFL standard

I think Sporn is just having a bad run at the moment. My take on him is that he is quite a good player, and could well be in our best 22. He had a bad start to the year, is all.

Let's remember, he routinely matched up against Hird in games against the Dons between say 2002-2004 (approximately) and usually beat him or came out square.

As far as every loss being a blessing?

Well, of course for the Blues to go forward we need as much help as we can get. I wouldn't complain about having the first two picks in the draft - because I want Carlton to be competitive over the next 5-10 years.

Yes it's a blessing. As long as we don't get hammered by 50+ a game.

Would be good to see Waite, Fen and Lance play good as well. Just as long as we don't get hammered!

The worse possible thing Carlton can do is win 6 or 7 games and be on no man's land.

all you can ask for is the 22 blokes picked each week give 100% and to see our current youngsters progressing.
either cement their spot in the team (walker, bryan, betts) or be knocking the door down to get into the seniors (russell, smith, o'halpin).

i think round 17 might be our biggest game of the year sat 23 July. haw V carl (MCG)

Blessed are the losers !

Imagine if we had have continued our wizsrd cup form into the season proper, smashing everything from the weagles down. No blessing in losing then. This draft system sucks. Clubs are lying down for draft picks.
The AFL really slammed the blues, thank christ that victorian hating CEO has ********ed off.
Carn a blues.

The way we have been playing is alright but we have to stop giving up in the last quater when we hit the front. Against Adelaide n sydney a free was payed and then we stop and don't play well that should stop.
