Are you under the impression that Macrae plays for North Melbourne? He plays for the Western Bulldogs. That's the team that you go for.

Heaven help us if he actually was played the majority of the time on the wing. Not particularly fast and can’t kick much further than 40 unless given room to hook it around his body. He’s not going to torch anyone as a wingman.

He’s a genuine big-bodied centreman that works enormously hard up and back once the ball has left the contest. Looks like he’s worked very hard in the off-season on his kicking to hit lead-up targets.

Overrated/underrated? Couldn’t give a stuff. We’ll have him. 33 touches in a Grand Final against a midfield boasting Kennedy, Parker, Mitchell and Hannerbery. Stat padding I guess?

I've always found people getting defensive about other people's opinions on sport to be completely baffling.

Macrae is overrated. Half his possession comes from free kick and the other half is opposition let him take the ball because he doesn't do anything with it. Most players could get 30-50 touches every game if they really tried but choose not to because they know it's pointless outside of super coach. If he gets another AA jacket this year it'll be because the AA selectors only look at supercoach score and don't watch the game.

You're right, people who base their opinions on Supercoach and fantasy footy are not basing their views on reality. But neither are those who think Macrae plays on the wing

Not at all. I've questioned parts of his game since he was drafted.
When complete rubbish or false information is spouted though, expect it to get called out and have your ignorance put on display. It's not that hard to understand.

Macrae works harder than probably any other Bulldog, absolutely smashes himself every week. It'd have to be tough having Bont next to you as a direct comparison, but it's Macrae and Libba's hard work which allows Bont off the chain. You have nothing to back up your bs comment regarding Macrae's unaccountability
