Albo after meeting with jewish leaders in perth on saturday and having a press conference on the fire on sunday, comes back to melbourne to meet with jewish leaders who want bans on protest action.

Albo might be working on this issue on a daily basis for the foreseeable future

These morons want the Federal Govt to "Stamp out" racism.

When they know full well, the federal Government has almost no power in this area.

All they're really doing is trying to punish the Government for their position on Palestine which 90% of the country support.

This is lobbying at its worst, and we should all be telling them, very loudly, to GAGF.

 
The very same people complaining about anti-semitism seem to be the ones undertaking the most Islamophobia.

They don't even know what racism is any more. They just scream "anti-semitism" at anything they don't like.

The worst type of people are people this hypocritical.

It's a dumb prospect and it's a fair bit of grandstanding from the Jewish leaders on this.

There will always be criminals. Government can't remove all crime. 2 idiots firebombing a synagogue doesn't scream a wider issue on Anti-Semtism to me.

Where did you get the 90% figure though?

This polls pretty old but doesn't seem to agree with that 90% figure. Unless you have a new one.

Israel is building a fence with Jordan now which will enable it to do a gaza-job on the palestinians in the west bank. More happy days for the israelis and their friends here.

2-state solution is bi-partisan. I didn't remember the pro-score, I'd only remembered the anti-score.

How about "only 10% of Australians don't support a 2-state solution"

If they're going to scream about anti-semitism, they should at least be honest and scream about islamophobia as well, no? Instead, most of their supporters, and those they're supporting are also spouting the most racism out of anyone.

Taking an isolated incident and grand standing it doesn't do much in the way of common sense.

There will always be idiots being idiots and committing isolated crime.

i dont think those polls are all that accurate as they are missing large %'s.

So i think maybe that 90% number you mentioned previously is not 100% accurate. Thats a nitpick though.

I agree, it isn't, but the majority support a 2-state solution. Just many people don't realise Israel have passed a law against a 2-state solution.

So they're at odds with the whole world, including the US whose official position is a 2-state solution, but actual position is

"whatever Israel says is their position, is our position"

and also

"whatever Israel does shouldn't be taken as something they meant to do, or as evidence of their position. And we can't prove that they're liars, so maybe they're not, but we're not going to check"

Albanese is a fool for responding to them though.

Albanese should have invited Netanyahu to Australia for talks on the issue. Now that would have been fun ;)

Problem is Albo doesn't have any balls.

Should have told Netanyahu to settle the **** down and worry about his own issues. Dont think old mate lives in a perfect society free of all crime.
