I just read that skynews babe erin molan got sacked....for being pro-israel or so she says....by sky??? by skynews australia....

so she hops on a plane to israel and does her tour of the hibbutzes that hamas raided.... and she is referred to as a "star" ...its all bizarre. is she going to marry zac efron? or front the new 90210? I'm interested to see if she makes it to fox in the US. Maybe rupert had his eye on his local "news" outlet.

Old news, but where does she claim to have been sacked for that reason?
"Molan has faced speculation about whether her outspoken support for Israel played a role in her dismissal from Sky News Australia earlier this month. However, she says making that link "wouldn’t make sense" given other staunch pro-Israeli voices on the network."

So people like yourself , who jump to conclusions have guessed that, she says it wouldn't make sense, and sky news have denied that was the reason. Typical internet bullshit.

But don't let it stop your silly little rant.

Have you texted SR. He likes the point by point stuff. You two would get along fine.... He's a big supporter of israel, but he can justify every word. You'll be fascinated.
Um, having read sr36 's last several comments, they don't seem like "a big supporter of Israel", they seem like they're pro-peace, against both Netanyahu and Hamas, and against anti-Semitism.

It's good that SR posted above, you can make a comment on his post. Just say that you're answering for me...
Why would I do that? You're the one who spouted a lot of stuff that you couldn't back up, not them. Honestly you seem a few sandwiches short of a picnic.

I am going to go out on a limb here and suggest that her pro-Israel stance is going to work out for her financially.

Sacked by Sky Australia for being pro-Israel……. I did laugh

Sky got this bloke off the street to fabricate some lie about the massacre ending after the hostages are returned. Evidently, the bloke hasnt read this israeli instruction manual. Sky really has something against attractive people....

On the morning of September 2, Shaima al-Daqqi got up early to take her two daughters – Hanan and 22-month-old Misk – to get the polio vaccine, which was being offered to people in the midst of Israel’s war on Gaza.

The following day, after the family had lunch, Israel bombed their home in Deir el-Balah.

It killed 25-year-old Shaima and injured the rest of the family, including her husband Mohammed al-Daqqi, and tore through the two little girls’ legs.

Hanan was severely injured, losing both her legs – one above the knee and one below – and sustaining wounds across her body, including her face and intestines. She had to undergo surgery to remove part of her bowels.

Meanwhile, little Misk had to have her left foot amputated.

Their father, Mohammed, 31, was in intensive care for two weeks with a brain haemorrhage and injuries to his chest.

Fortunately, the family didnt have to hear the distressing news about the fire in melbourne last week.

its coming fast....

Acting Superintendent Walker described the sign as “disgusting” and “not palatable”, vowing is was a priority that police identify the men.

disgusting? not palatable? More like stupidly inaccurate. Deliberately provocative. It's all very strange. Probably the most polite sign that I have read from the anals of antisemitism. Do they know that they are assisting their "hated" enemy? Obviously, the sign is for perspective dweebs out there who are losers and might want to do it together in a crowd. And the new legislation will cover signs with content like this? Welcome to the future.
A bunch of people, wearing masks to hide their identity, help the very people they purport to despise with their sign display.

Am I wrong to be highly sceptical?

I missed the following article which appeared 5 days ago. Reading stuff like this, I reflect on how I might respond if I was in Wong's position and another country's foreign minister "chastised" me for the position that my country was taking. Of course, there's the issue of politeness - something that the leaders in this country dont appear to have. Then I should be thinking of the economic damage that can be done to this country by telling him to get stuffed...Could i keep my mouth shut to protect the jobs of thousands of australians? I dont think I could....

And the "politeness" of the disgusting sign. Maybe they dont make neo-nazis like they used to. It's like a monty python skit.

You could probably get 20 blokes to do that for half the price of a holiday in tel aviv....

This quote is from the Israeli FInancial Review...

Israel is angry Australia has refused to criticise the International Criminal Court over its international arrest warrant for Mr Netanyahu for alleged war crimes. Senator Wong has said Australia respected the court’s independence and role in upholding international law.

If I was Wong, I would have told the Israelis that Australia doesnt criticise courts for trying to bring murdering bastards to justice. The sheer arrogance of critcising australia, when it lied about hamas murdering babies in ovens last year.....only for the israelis to murder them on a daily basis over a whole year. I cannot imagine how the palestinians put up with being collectively jailed for over 2 decades by these pieces of faeces...

neither the bombing nor the sniper attacks were primarily hamas target attacks. it’s been brutal, unconscionable ethnic cleansing and little else.

Actually, I dont think they're targetted strikes.....the israelis call them surgical strikes because they are hoping that a lot of palestinian children will be requiring surgery after the bomb goes off...

Talking about strategies. I read this morning that Israelis managed to kill 4 security guards that were guarding the aid coming in by trucks...

so it's a win win... the israelis convince the gentiles that they are allowing humanitarian aid in....and they get to kill 4 guards who they presume must be hamas. Not that any justification is required.

or have any principles.

He had the christian message down pat until the bit about not accepting the apology.....jesus always forgives if you're sorry.

So much for religion. If there are two things that can be learnt ....lets make that three... from this episode.

1. Might is right
2. The UN is useless
3. Religions cause more spooky evil evil evil, than any form of pseudo fascism that has become trendy recently.

Seize the moment...this will bring tears to your eyes. I'm a grown man and i was sobbing

All of those involved are killers , both sides. Some may be able to feel remorse for what they are doing, but others are , as she said, no longer human.
It will take generations of peace to fix it all, and i'm not sure they'll get that.

Thanks for that. I couldnt be bothered listening to her. She seems to be wearing the same outfit in all the videos.

I just had a brief interlude reading a comment page by sam clench who writes for rupert on political things. He was going on about how elon was supporting a minor party in germany - AfD.

Most of the article is hysterical and probably indicates whats required to get hits on the net, but I did some research on the party. The party is a neo anti-immigration nationalist etc etc right winger but it did support israel like most german institutions which have been israel's biggest ally after the US.

But two months ago, its leadership swapped sides.....and it reflects the real feelings of the german people. And Sam writes his article, coincidence?....a state of flux as they used to say.
