Mid East Israel declare war after Hamas attack III

As opposed to Israel's holy aim to colonise and ethnic cleanse much of the region?

What's the difference? Who has done the most killing?
Not sure ..... how many Jewish have been persecuted and killed over the history of the region?

Who attacked who first in 1947 once the UN mandated the State of Israel?

The Jewish have been persecuted by others throughout their history .... am guessing they have kind of had enough .... doesn't make it right what they are currently doing of course but neither does Iran's islamist policy of arming their proxies and their revolutionary religious mandate to wipe out Jews .... it seems Israel are big on security for their people against those that want to ethnically cleanse them

Why aren't Saudi, Jordan & Egypt joining the current fight?

They had previously .... but now it seems they want no part of it

The zionists started ethnic cleansing Palestine around 35 years before the UN mandate.

It will be interesting how Israel retaliate against Iran. Jordan have already denied them air space and that will not change. Israel could simply ignore that like they ignore every other international law and convention I guess - there is not much Jordan could do about it.

But I doubt Iran have used their best stuff yet either. You cannot defeat Iran. You can hurt them. You can bomb the shit out of them (depending on what Israel has left). But they cannot defeat them militarily just like you cannot defeat Afghanistan.

There is no possible way the USA join this conflict. They simply won't. They achieved SFA in Iraq. And they achieved zero in Afghanistan. And this conflict is going to be against Hamas, Hizballah, Houthi's and Iran with the threat of more joining and Russia doing whatever it can to cause instability in a completely asymmetrical war.

And for what?

There is no way the USA will allow body bags with US soldiers in them or place significant USA assets in harms way when the bigger picture is China.

Then there are all the logistic issues. How does Israel even get stuff to Israel if this gets real?

And all this while Trump is running an election campaign with no wars being a significant part of his platform.

Israel have a massive military advantage until they don't. Then what?
I guess we have to wait and see ... seems Israel have a plan which they said they will implement shortly ..... they seem to be pretty ingenious and successful about how they leverage their resources and achieve their objectives.

The Jewish were ethnically cleansed from the region for many years before this

And around and around we go

Who's right .... Who's wrong?

The Israelis? The Bablyonians? The Persians? The Romans? The Arab Muslims? The Ottomans?

Funny enough Persian King Cyrus the Great liberated the Jews from Babylonian captivity and returned them to the promised land .... and now the Persian Kings ... the Ayatollahs .... want to vanquish them

Also .... interesting how Jewish were able to buy Levant land from the Ottomans and increase their stake in the region prior to the British defeating the Ottomans in WW1

Do you think the 1947 UN mandated lines should be adhered to? Enforced?

You know who didn't attack the Israelis? Palestinians
Plan Dalet was under creation before the partition plan vote

No, because Jerusalem is full of civilians. Why do Israel supporters fail to realise that body count is not something to be proud of.

In an ideal world, Iran precisely hits all the Israeli bombs and missile depots for zero deaths and the war instantly stops.

Or Israel takes out every Hezbollah, Hamas and Houthi terrorist, and the war instantly stops.
Are you that naive that you think the war will instantly stop if one side takes out the other’s military capabilities?

If Iran gets rained upon by Israel .... Iran won't be able to retaliate

Israel would have a extremely high understanding of military targets inside Iran and they have the means to take them out .... plenty of groups within Persia that would happily see the current government taken down .... plenty of other countries in the region would be quietly happy as well
I’m not sure what gives you the confidence this is the case? The US and NATO still haven’t been able to stop the Houthi hitting ships in the Red Sea. They have much of their artillery underground, as do Hezbollah, as do many of the others that are facing off. Israel would have as well so they will certainly be able to inflict damage themselves, but this is just looking more and more like a no win situation for Israel.

Unless they change tack significantly, Israel is never going to be able to sleep easy ever again. I just don’t know how it is possible to negotiate peace from this point with what has been done to Gaza and the illegal settlements in Jerusalem and the West Bank. They are now facing Hamas, Hezbollah, Syria, Iraqi militants, Houthi, and Iran and this list may well grow.

They want Israel to stop the genocide.

Israel (and/or US) is the only ones that can stop these wars.
I suppose Hamas releasing the hostages, which everyone seems to have forgotten about, would not go some way towards calming the current situation?

For delusional, trolling, or just trying to incite a response to set this thread on fire, see above.
In what way is this delusional or trolling and why would it “set the thread on fire”?
In case of any misunderstanding, I certainly believe Israel is capable of inflicting significant damage to Iran.

Of course the US could take them out, they’ve just chosen not to.
I think if there are significant direct attacks on US ships or bases in the region, then you’ll see some action.

The Arab coalition and some Zionists refused to accept the partition plan & UN mandated lines and after a few months of tit for tat the Arab coalition went on the attack after the British Mandate ended and Israel declared independence and there has been regional conflict ever since with Israeli forces continuing to hold sway

You didn't answer the question.

Not taking the hostages in the first place, and not murdering over one thousand innocents in a massacre 1 year ago probably would have worked even better!!
