settlers live in the west bank and golan. They dont protest for the war to end for any reason. Except for a few israeli organisations that present a humane face, I havent seen actual protests to end the war for any reason other than to get the hostages back.....which was my point. The israeli govt could pursue a short term deal to get them back and then would probably have public opinion to exterminate gaza totally.

The israelis are using a similar strategy in gaza and the west bank...albeit a little more deadly. You dont give your opponent a sniff.... I saw an analysis of it a while back. If you stop people from having their say, they give up. Academics would know that success at universities relies on raising themself up in their specialty. You cant do that when everyone wont speak to you because they fear isolation. It will be interesting to see if the lobby can get the academic sector under control....

That was an interesting listen, but it has to be easier to kill remotely than up close and personal. I wouldn’t be surprised if the powers that be will take feedback like this and try to make it less emotional for them to kill (like delegating someone else to follow the dead body instead of the drone operator that killed the person). Pesky human beings with their pesky human emotions.

I heard from someone not long ago (I can’t remember who) that stated that the suicide rate in Israel has skyrocketed this past year. The less they have to rely on human beings the better it is for the establishment (and there is always money in war).

Drone warfare is becoming a huge thing ,ie they are giving the superpowers the shits about how much it costs to shoot down these cheaparse things.
The USA and UK are not far off with non-ballistic solutions.
They use microwave and RF to knock them out.
Radio Jamming is also an option. But hey in Gaza they are lucky if they can find some wood to make a slingshot.

I think you missed my point. You were speculating why the drone operators might be suffering psychologically. The doctor in the video was talking about IDF drones closing in after a missile attack in order to kill the children....

THe point being that the drone operators might find it hard to live with themselves after killing off kids in such a gutless manner....even though they're the chosen people and given a free pass by yahweh
