Ivan Maric - Best young ruckman in the game

Was watching both games on split screen and Ivan Maric pantsed David Hille today and has pantsed opponent after opponent this year. Hes very athletic, great leap, great mark, great tapouts. Awesome disposal and the closest thing to Dean Cox playing atm

Hes the best young ruckman in the land. Even better then Kruezer etc at this point IMO. Gun. If I could trade for any Adelaide youngster itd be Maric

Ahh finally some recognition from an opposition supporter. Funnily enough was struggling early in the year and came back mid way through the season and the Big Croat has been on fire. He's now got the AFL body and is very handy around the ground and takes a great grab up forward. More similar to the way Lade plays. Another basketball convert... He's got a bit of mongrel in him, is a competitive beast and doesn't like getting beaten. He was setting himself up for this match as he knew Hille's been the form ruck in the past weeks.

He got beaten comprehensively by Wood and Bryan when we played Adelaide, but i don't really watch much of Adelaide, so i'm open to thinking he just had a bad game.

Got injured during the middle of the pre-season and carried some niggling injuries into the season before coping a serious injury.

Maric looked the goods when he was up against Laycock. Kicked a goal when Laycock did not want to compete.

Hille had the better of him but he does look a good prospect.

I think Hille broke his hand in the third.
