I don't think being fair to your competitors is anything to crow about - especially since i don't think many of those B-graders we traded for have come on to A Graders. ( Houli, Morton, Grigg, Farmer, McMahon, Thomson, Hislop, Polak, )

I shop entirely on the internet, but mainly because i hate people and findretail in the modern age to be filthy.

I no longer work in retail, it's a disgusting job - a stripper has more pride than someone working in retail

Congrats on picking up Maric gents! Think he will fit in well at Richmond. Losing the number one ruck spot to Jacobs is no shame.

Back when we got Nathan Brown (and had to pay to do it) we had to get blokes from other clubs of that calibre for it work out because no one lesser talented flourished at Richmond from what they were doing at their other club.

Im hoping things have changed now where we can take a bloke not getting a regular game and turn him into a top player. We have to do that as we cant afford to be bidding for Mitch Clarkes to fill our gaps.

Im hoping that guys like Grigg,Houli and Maric are now in a culture where they can reach new heights rather than never go above the heights they were at their previous clubs. If we have that culture then we can begin to compete with Collingwood.

Every day I'm starting to warm more and more to the big Eeeeevvaannn.

Was watching a couple of games he's played and he certainly is an upgrade on Graham IMO. He might not get as many taps, but at least they're actually directed towards his players and not just random flailing of the arms.

Seems to actually cover ground as well and not just jog up and down the wing between contests.

Being Croatian myself, I can give first hand on the state of play in the Balkans.
Keep up if you can.

The Croatians hate the Serbs and vice versa, but they still trade as normal, otherwise thay would be rooted. The Bosnians hate each other, while the Montenegrins try to forge their own little paradise in the mess and the Macedonians can't afford anyone to hate them or they would be done for economically.

I have merged some older threads which hadn't been used for at least 48 hrs into this old ' welcome to Richmond Ivan Maric thread ', which had previously been known as something else .
It makes more sense to me to have 1 thread dedicated solely to Ivan where all things about his recruitment , joining of the club , others ruck options which where p erlioked in favour of the big croat etc etc , can all be discussed within the one thread , got an issue , head my way via a PM !
