Knew about a terrorist for 5 years.had 5 years to pass a law making it illegal but didnt. Had police following the guy 24 hours a day but still wasnt enough to stop him stabbing half a dozen people, 3 in a critical condition.
Then goes on TV and says "Oops we dropped the ball there"....
20 years since September 11. 2 years since the Mosque attack. What cost to monitor this guy 24 hours a day - knowing full well he was going to do something but powerless to act until he started killing.
Combined with an atrocious vaccine rollout that makes ours look world class.
What a complete farce. She really is out of her depth.
My sister in law is a pharacist at a hospital so has been vaccinated. My brother is 50 and still waiting for his 1st shot.

Failed housing programs, failed vaccne rollout, not only failed but enabled a terrorist attack. Take away her ability for spin and she is actually worse than any of our recent PMs from either party. Very lucky she is getting a dream run from their media and NZ can cower behind Australia while taking hypocritical pot shots about what is in reality our vastly more genrous refugee intake.

Apparently nearby tactical teams intervened within 60 seconds. I doubt they would have multiple teams of people following him 24/7. It could indicate the security services had undercover operatives who had been engaging with him and knew of his plan - but failed to act in time.

What are you even on about? They have the same number of first jabs and about 4% less second jabs. They're also going faster now than we ever have. It's hardly like ours is miles better - they're equivalently shit. Also looks like they're getting on top of their Delta outbreak so with any luck shouldn't have to be in lockdown for 4 months unecessarily.

Support for New Zealand’s Labour/Greens government increased 2% points to 51.5% in August although support for the Labour Party was unchanged at 39.5%. The increase was driven by rising support for the Greens which was up 2% points to 12% in August.
It remains to be seen what effect the latest terrorist murders will have; but the advantage she has is that the opposition is absolutely hopeless by comparison.

They were well ahead of us and then we overtook them. And now they are catching up. The size of the country and the population should have been a basic exercise in rolling it out. Yet they have struggled for 6 months.
Ours is so atrocious that Scomo is reaponsible for the lockups and the deaths and has to go... apparently.

Yep Jacinda is responsible for the 2-3 weeks of lockdowns stemming from the slow rollout. Might stretch out to 5 or 6 by the end of it. ScoMo is currently at about 4 months and climbing.

Apart from letting a terrorist plot and then carry out a terrorist attack because she refused to strengthen the anti terror laws, of course.

You struggle with comprehension? There are a number of people who post routinely about Scomo needing to reaign over the vaccine rollout. I assume those same people would think Ardern also needs to resign.
Do you think Scomo should resign over the rollout? Have you posted at least once or twice on this ?
Should Ardern also resign based on the same failures? Or does she get a free pass for reasons?

Scott Morrison's main issues are his multitude of other failures. The vaccine rollout is really just the most recent in a conga line of stuffups/embarassments
