Would be happy to take him. Similar cost to Lipinski you’d think?

Yes he is and its not close.

If that was the case, clubs would be banging down the door to get him.....they're not. When was the last time he actually played a decent game? Two-three years ago??

Ginnivan and Lipinski are two handy players that just contributed to a premiership. Billings cant crack a team that bowed out in the first week of finals, that by your own words was full of kids that Ross preferred, if Billings was good enough he would have made your starting 22, he didn't. Your logic of "he is better" isn't really stacking up.

Oh so there we have it. Contributed to a premiership so now they are better. Please what do you think Frampton is now worth?

Billings would have played in a grand final if was at Collingwood.

Frampton performed his role to perfection, to limit the damage Andrews can do from defence.

Ginnivan and Lipinski are better because they are playing and contributing for a premiership team so yeah they are better than a plodder who isn't playing......for a mid table team.....who prefer to play inexperienced kids. Maybe take your argument up with Ross seeing as how invested in it you are.

Oh your surely not using the they played in a grand final so they are better.

I know you have a thing about Collingwood, as all your post show.
Just once though, can you actually contribute something that is even remotely debatable.

Billings wouldn't have even got in this years side, as an emergency.

They played in a Grand Final, they played finals, they played H&A this year, they contributed this year, they got on the park this year. Billings didn't and hasn't done for some time so pick one.

Still haven't answered, why Ross wont play him over the kids and not for junk games either, important games leading to and including finals (sorry final)??

Why would Billings get a game at the premier or a top 4 side but not at no man’s land St Kilda?

A club will pick him up because he is talented and worth a punt. Not because they think he’d slot into their best 22 seamlessly.

He would have played before both Lipinski and Ginnivan.
Lipinski is one of the best runners in our team.
Ginni has the capacity to kick goals and win the game off his own boot.
Ginny also gives spark and helps lift others around him.

Now as for the GF.
Lipinski played his role very well.
Ginni, didn't have his best day, it was Bobby's day this time, that is the beauty of options.

Now I think we would rather a 20yo Ginni, than a 28yo Billings.

Can you please, for the love of god, stop embarrassing yourself and think before you type.

No one is saying Collingwood would trade for him I'm saying he is better than those players. If he was on Collingwoods lit he would have played.

Billings from St Kilda, would not have played in the GF.

Billings, in the Collingwood system, is an unknown, as it would depend if he had a skillset to make the team better.

If he cost nothing and didn't use up much cap space, then yeah sure, have a look at him.

I wouldn't be actively chasing him though, as he fails to fill a void for us ATM.

So Lipinski has more value than Cam Guthrie.

We are talking about Billings aren't we? Guthrie didn't play because he was struck down by injury, he was also a valuable contributor to a flag just last year, Guthrie's done a hell of a lot more in the last three years than Billings. And still no answer on why Ross didn't play him?? I know why, Ross is a decent coach who doesn't make dumb arse decisions to play plodders like Billings.

Face the reality, St Kilda don't want him, clubs whether they are rebuilding or topping up aren't bashing down the door to get him. He may end up at a club with list spots to be filled but right now, at present club recruitment staff don't seem to rate him as any sort of high priority that you do.

Hes contracted and no one has said they don't want him. Broke his leg in the pre season came back late played well broke his hand.

Great kick great endurance.

Billings is a St Kilda listed player. Whether he would be a premiership player if at Collingwood - is a completely irrelevant hypothetical.

It has nothing to do with his value and is best discussed elsewhere.

The reality is whilst Jack is contracted to St Kilda, he is now not a part of their present nor of their future. That is not ground breaking; all parties would be well aware of where he sits.

St Kilda may be stuck with him because he's a nothing footballer now. Hasn't done anything for a few years now and even then his best has never been anything more than just OK. At 28 that more than likely will not be changing at a new club.

But, with SOS in charge nothing would surprise. Love him or hate him he's a crafty operator and he'll do what he can to move Jack on for an asset.

Would not surprise me if he's sold to the highest bidder - which will not be particularly high - just to get him off the books, and secure a pick in the opposite direction

In fairness to you its four more than I was expecting when searching this conjunction.
