I did say that maybe the saints promised him more game time

I just dont think we were that keen on him. Hes a nice top have player for sure, good depth but realistically is probably a 20-25 player on a list at best

You’d expect that he’d be behind 3 other 188cm-and-above guys, in Steele, Macrae and Phillipou, and all-things-being-equal, you’d imagine he’ll be behind Hunter Clark

Does look alike a very useful depth option though, with genuine scope to improve, so you can see why we grabbed him. Especially with Clark in particular being so injury-prone. Those two might actually be fighting for one spot.

It's become fairly obvious in the last three years that the Eagle have the worst list management system in the AFL.
