You people seem ok with the divisions these mandates are causing? It's all for the best.

Yeah why don't we create a brand new sub branch of our society that we can all hang sh*t on and feel superior to?

Yes I believe they will only pay 25 percent of this year’s contract.
Then it’s all the best Jack.

I seriously doubt the club haven’t been in communication and they’re conducting business through Instagram stories.

The club have posted what seems likely to be the truth, given JD’s name was floated as unvaccinated months ago in a variety of outlets, and it’s not something they’d go out of their way to publicise if it weren’t. JD has posted his free man of the land stuff, presumably upon advice that it’s legally binding or in some way the right path to take.

I doubt the Eagles higher ups have opened up their feeds today and gone “oh what, Jack’s injured? Why didn’t he just tell us”.

Athletes have made statements on social media to try and sway the court of public opinion for as long as social media has been a thing. This wouldn’t be on the club for not opening a dialogue with him about the topic.

The WCE statement while true has hung Jack out as a anti-vaxxer when the reality is he may possibly be seeking or exploring options to receive a medical exemption ..

It’s exactly this. He will have read, or been told, that on the medical grounds spelled out in some nonexistent part of the Magna Carta and the Australian Constitution of 1901 that, under Common Law, he isn’t required to disclose anything personal due to his status as a private citizen of the land and therefore he isn’t required to...

It’s the exact sort of bullshit people say out loud if asked about masks, or to check in, or to see their vax certificate. They think throwing vaguely legal sounding terms around will make people back off.

He probably shares those “I DO NOT GIVE FACEBOOK PERMISSION TO USE MY POSTS OR IMAGES….” style posts too.
Weve got one of them here - wayne glew, keeps not paying rates and losing sovereign citizen defence lawsuits against the council and they keep taking properties off him and selling them. He has a bunch of lickspittle toady fanbois on facebook thicker than him - i call them the glew sniffers. Its a hoot.

Although Jack could challenge this if he does have a medically sound reason for not taking the vaccine? Also how is that going to endear WCE with the rest of the playing group. Messy.

If he has a medically sound reason for not taking the vaccine, the AFL would have accepted it and he’d be training. You think if there was a loophole the Eagles wouldn’t be the first ones in there trying to exploit it to keep Jack Darling on the field? They’d be fighting his corner so fast if he had an above board chance to keep playing.

boom boom

It really sounds like Jack is dumb enough to not understand the club has nothing to do with the decision - it is all a cosnsequence of his actions. Denial of reality is a common trait it seems

Without fail all the people i know who are on the other side of the divide have subnormal intelligence.

its not so much that we are alright with it - its more a cross we have to bear. You just have to accept that 50% of the population are in that sub par group.

love to do a venn diagram of australian trump supporters and anti vaxxers

Jack's post suggests he doesn't agree. Potentially he could get over what he thinks is the issue, take the vaccine and ohh wow we all just bagged **** out of him. Alternatively he could challenge the AFL dictate on medical grounds. Or Jack is a moron.

I'm not anti Vax I'm anti mandate. It's created ridiculous situations like this one where we are bagging someone for something we have no idea of.

759 players have successfully completed their vaccinations or had an approved medical exemption.

We are very much entitled to label him an idiot. This is not a mix-up with the AFL, every club and player knew what they had to do to resume playing in 2022.

Jack might not agree but do you think the club issued their statement without crossing every t and dotting ever i?

He’s a clown.

The WCE statement while true has hung Jack out as a anti-vaxxer when the reality is he may possibly be seeking or exploring options to receive a medical exemption ..

This was discovered in September by a Twitter sleuth, Jack liked a whole heap of anti-Vaxx content and RWNJ content on there before removing it

He knows what he's doing with that media statement, as Badge said he's looking for a loophole now

This screams of him not only not getting vaccinated, but pulls out his own doctor to write him a note saying he's suffered a workplace injury preventing him from working (back injury / head injury whatever).

So then he'll expect or file a lawsuit for his full pay rather than 25% of base level.

What a campaigner. It better not hold up.

If he truly had an intent on returning to training he'd have gotten vaxxed and worked with the club doctors.
