If it's true (apparently) that this is because he is getting vaccinated, the pro-vax crew here would be fine with that.
Think it would irk some if he somehow managed to weasel a last minute exemption.
I guess, but honestly I just can't find the energy to get worked up about his - admittedly goofy - tactics here.
I hope he plays. And then all the hysterical people can still call him a murderer or whatever and get their kicks from that and the rest of us can enjoy watching him kick goals and doing stupid Darling things.
The reporting seems to be all over the place, but if he has gotten vaxxed, that's great news. An exemption would surely get messy.

I think the people most pissed about this will be East Fremantle as we just picked up Hugh Dixon, and he might not end up playing that many games after all

Nah the whole club is running on 5G now, they'll be so in sync it'll basically be like one 22 man LAN party.
I think (hope) it's all a bit overplayed tbh. They know him, know that he's a bit different and he doesn't seem like the most 'one of the boys' guys anyway.
Worst case scenario we can get something for him next year via trade.

Vax Darling is best Darling.
So the first date Novavax was available was 21/02 from memory (I think that was prior to the official release date). Monday is exactly 3 weeks (coincidentally or not the same timeframe between doses) from that date.
It seems he may have got his 1st dose (but not told anyone for whatever reason) and the expectation is he will get his second dose Monday.
If he has been doing sufficient work on his own it is not beyond him to play on Sunday.
Also not sure where it leaves our salary cap, but the preference is/was always to have an elite forward playing than just worrying about shifting $

I feel sorry for xInfected_Virus who will have to completely re-work his season prediction that had us finishing somewhere between wooden spooners and premiers, depending on how things worked out.
What paperwork? I got my booster on Sunday and was able to update my certificate in the app during my 15min post-vax wait.
I guess the AFL might want to double check it considering the spotlight on this one, but would be awesome if he could be back from tomorrow.

So if comes to pass that he has taken novavax, a vaccine tech that has been around for decades with long term safety data - and not taken the mRNA vaccine which doesn't have the same long term data - is he still an anti-vaxxer?
I am still very much in the anti-mandate camp - and respect Jack for his decision with what to do with his own body
However if he did have a first dose 3 weeks ago and didn't let the club know - that is a dick move.
The absolute cynic in me though says he might have found a sympathetic medical practitioner.......
