Stephenson is bit like Daisy in the X-Factor and Speed Daisy Gave the Team. Stephenson also has Pace and X-Factor but Taller and Better Engine then Daisy when we Drafted him in 2005

Daisy had a prttty good tank when he arrived. What he lacked was body strength that sometimes manifested itself in some sloppy kicking as he tired...but he was a pretty good runner from day 1.

Daisy could hardly be termed a long term success story.

It's easy to forget that he played 150+ games of pretty good footy over 7-years and was an integral part of our side almost from the get go.

At his peak, he was one of our best and an absolute A-grader over his last 3-4 years with us.

Having that peak in his career cut short by injury doesn't really diminish his output for the club, at least not in my eyes anyway.

Haven't really followed the draft as religiously as prior years

From little look at his highlights package seems a lot of like daisy

This is all true and Dale Thomas was an absolute GUN player. People who degrade (or try to degrade Daisy's influence amongst the team and club are simply fickle). Let's not put too much pressure on young Stephenson (even if he is a GUN also!!)

Posters questioning Jaidyn's ability to kick need to watch a little more of him play. He is a very good kick and I would say an elite kick when around goal. Watch the all stars game if you have any concerns to start with.

I would say his last 1-2 years of injury with us were rubbish but before that I'd agree entirely, was a star

Love your post.
We should, I agree not put too much pressure on our Gun player Stephenson. The gun needs a few months before round 1 and we can let loose our gun.

People quibbling over kicking are so petty. Its not like he is Mark McGough disposal skills.

Fyfe, Dangerfield and Judd all have had " iffy disposal" Means nothing.

Best on in an all stars is more valueable and exciting than an "elite" kicker who gathers 7 disposals @ 100% efficiency . We need match winners.

His disposal looked well above average in those highlight vids... possibly a decision making problem rather than kicking technique, hence his flawless goal kicking.

Obvious nickname ? Ticker? Since theres been so much bs talk about his issue with his heart
Ha ha ha very very good.

I agree with this. I was a bit concerned over his kicking on the first set of highlights I saw, but have seen more and feel much more comfortable. He’ll do a lot of damage in our forward half

It was a bit of the opposite for me. I watched the all star game and the champs and didn't have too much concern, not the most fluent technique, but pretty effective. Then i did watch a little more of him with the TAC cup clips i posted, and he barely hit a target for the whole video.
I'm a tad concerned because the kid looks like a freak and i love everything else about him, i just don't want him to be the kind of player that does so much great work then can't finish the last bit. Still excited though.

He played lot more Inside then U-18 and All Star he played outside of the Wing and up Forward
