you’ve clearly never seen a Stephenson interview, nor do you understand how much backgrounding recruiters should do on 1st round picks.
Please. You are using more hindsight than a time travelling optometrist.

Yes, because hindsight is needed to know we were desperate for a KPP in 2018, or that Stephenson is clearly not all there… you can tell that from a 5 minute interview or by checking his social media, but yeah, the recruiters had no idea.

You wouldn’t have said that at half time in the 2018 Grand Final (which we unlikely would’ve been playing in if we’d had Naughton’s 2 goals that season instead of Stephenson’s 38 goals).
He came top 5 in the Dogs B&F in his first year as a defender. Given we were using Howe and Langdon as our key talls in the GF I’d say he probably would have made a difference…

Apparently accused of pleading with medical staff to hide his medical records ...

I wonder what needs hiding? They wouldn’t need (presumably) to do a BAC or drug test if the accident happened in his own home.

I mean, they’re going to work out his hip was fractured.

Let’s just say the real story was all over social media 3-4 Hours before the Norff media release

Being a former Collingwood player he should’ve blamed his dog. That’s the gold standard for covering up what you shouldn’t have been doing.

Wanting the hospital to not release his medical records to North suggests he was on the nose beers as well as beers?

Collingwood supporters quietly close the door on that trade, wring their hands as they walk away, slip them back into their pockets, look skyward and begin to softly whistle.

A bullet dodged.

A bullet dodged would’ve been selecting someone else in the draft instead of turning pick 6 into a paltry return of pick 26.

I bet their is more to this story. Stay tuned.

Talking of betting Jaidyn has time on his hands for a punt now.

This bloke can't stay out of the news.

Not really, he could have been on the weed or XTC or even heroin
