We Drafted Marsh instead of Rooking Kelly

very very good defensively. Great effort with his tackles.

One crab like action which resulted in him turning over the ball and Melbourne kicking a goal.

With our present backline he cannot play in this side against the better teams.

We need more drive and composure from the back half and jack could not give it today.

Understandably he was more intent on keeping his opponent quiet and he did quite well in this regard.

He gave a great interview too. Felt his excitement and enthusiasm. Also a gratifying incite into how our coach is available for our junior players because Jake feel comfortable enough to tap him on the shoulder while he is on a treadmill.

Good defensive side to his game by Kelly. I blame Hartigan for that goal from Kelly's turnover in the third. We had Hendo and another guy free on the wing 25 metres away and Hartigan goes for the 50 metre across ground switch at half back on a wet day to Kelly who is immediately put under pressure. Ridiculous option to take, particularly in the wet. Poor kid was on a hiding to nothing in that instance.

I remember Marsh was rated pretty high in that draft year, has good height and speed.
