Matt Foley 15 disposals and a goal for Calder today.
Misiti 9 disposals and a goal.
Alessio 4 touches.

Davey kicked the first for Oakleigh and had a run down tackle too.

Foley really impressed me today, very lively around the contest and tackles like his life depends on it.

Misiti is a big unit and kicks well but he seems like an “in betweener “ not big enough for Key Position and not quick enough to play smaller.

Jets had a couple of really good ball users (can’t find names online) in no’s 22 and 28. Small forward no 6 looks a likely prospect too

He's 194 cm so could potentially become a Marcus Adams type as a best case scenario.

Adams is a specimen athletically, which makes up for the lack of genuine KPD height
He's very strong and quick in straight lines, but he's not really the most nimble IMO

I like eth-dog's idea and getting Josh into our VFL system, even this year. Get him close to the AFL program without overstepping the rules and he may very well develop into something resembling an AFL player. Right now I see him as a Jacob Thompson type. An almost guy.
I agree Josh is going well but he is as you say a Jacob Thompson. Some ability but just not quite at the moment. Dare I say it Aaron Francis without the skill level.

Dodoro needs to get on the phone and tell the coaches to manage his game time to get those stats back down
He could have just told them that in person, he was at the game today backwards cap and all

In 27 degrees not even Dodoro is that crazy, was worth it though to see him rocking the backwards bright red cap.

HATS OFF TO ADRIAN DODORO

Herald Sun April 16, 2022 10:39pm

IT'S almost winter and Melbourne turned on a sweltering day yesterday, prompting Adrian Dodoro to don a hat for Oakleigh's match at Box Hill City Oval.
