Yep ngas are cat b worthy. We now have a spot with hird being delisted.

I’m not sure what Carlos clocks for a sprint time, but I know he has an insane vertical leap which is a positive for someone at his height. It’s a shame for because 7-10cm taller and he’s almost a top 30-40 lock as small forward.
I know that NGA's are able to be put on the Cat B list but I was asking if we should put either of them on?

25 Goals from 12 games this year from Koby, including two of the teams' six in the Semi Final and three of the teams' five in the Grand Final.

Named second best in both of those finals as an underager.

Good for second in the league goal-kicking tally, T-5 in the league B&F

Went goalless in only two games, one of which he was listed as BOG.

Players like Rowell and Daicos were doing this at the same age aswell, you could almost put it down to being an early developer and just bigger than the other kids but I don’t believe that’s the case. Has also performed well in state athletics so he has some good athletic traits aswell.

Yeah its hard to look at him and say he has a size advantage over people a year older than him.

As an aside, I'm kinda surprised just how accessible all these stat are for junior football.

They have been for awhile I mean I could see goals and bests for my junior club way back in the 00’s

Egan really quiet today for Calder, apparently Luca Alessio did some nice intercepting stuff but I suspect he’s more a shout to play VFL or more NAB league next year.

Foley 29 touches, 23 kicks, 14 rebounds. Calder got caned by Sandy so all the NGA kids are done for the year.

Quietly confident we take him as a Cat B now that Hird Jnr is off the list. Just steps up when the going gets tough. Like him

Claiming him as my boy early

I’m a skeptic for now but open to it, I’m not sure how good he is defensively for that size and from what I’ve seen I’d describe him as a good kick but not as good as Massimo for example.

And not sure on midfield scope

Certainly worth a look though, seems he’s continuing to get better and better as the year goes on.

from what I have heard, he has played a few 'roles' and if we can get a kid in who if asked to play defensive small forward and does it, then next week is told to "hold the tram lines" (as you say, I like the phrase) and does it well enough then a week later is asked to block and spread as a midfielder in the VFL then I am all for it.

Kid is vice captain at the Cannons so has that leadership few are placing emphasis on and whilst his size isn't huge (181cm / 73kg - could be an early year reading to so possible he's put on weight also).

Worth noting, even thought they (Calder) got spanked, our crop for next year (and year after) did ok on the score sheet. Kakko kicked 2, Naim kicked 1 as well.

Kako is going to be a player, but will be too good for us to get our hands on him.

People used to say the same thing to me when I used to comment on Suban in the under 18. It was all nah he is just big and doing it on size.
