If Stewart thinks he's a #1 forward then he should just quit AFL. If anyone else thinks he can be a #1 forward they should also just quit footy in genreal. He's a 3rd tall/Ruck type. Same as Jesse White.

You'd think that Gibbs for Marchbank would be a pretty unpalatable deal for Carlton. Surely something extra would be needed from either Adelaide or GWS.

Essendon have apparently offered a 2 year deal and give a 4th round pick.
GWS have picks coming out of their butts, with many of those early picks, while needing to reduce list size. They wont be using that pick.

And now Craig Cameron from GWS has had meetings with a club other than Carlton and Collingwood. The matter is in the hands with Stewart's management.
Brett Anderson (SEN/Inside Football) says that Stewart has agreed to our offer of 2 years.

Excellent. I was getting worried he'd come to Collingwood for a while there...
Reckon most Essendon people are very pleased to get this done the way it is being done.
Must have been hard for him to continue to kick goals as he did in the NEAFL, despite the relative form of Patton and Cameron ahead of him. He was doing his job without a lot of reward.
Mind you, he would be behind Daniher and Hooker at Essendon, but gives a bit of cover if need be.
