Yes understand love for Pets but is really overrated on this board as is very limited apart from energy and effort but to rate him in same class as Porps and Callinan is crazy as these guys are real class and great creators and finishers.
If we can make finals and further it is my opinion Pets wont make it all way through.

Totally different player to Porps or Callinan. Petrenko's job is forward pressure and keeping the ball inside 50. He's doing a great job :thumbsu: Porps couldnt do what he is doing.

That being the case, you'd have to say he did a fairly good job even if he didn't get a whole lot of the ball (as seems to be his habit lately).

Note that he was, once again, in the lower reaches when it came to his disposal count - just 10 disposals. Only Talia, Callinan, Otten & Douglas had less - Douglas was injured early and Callinan & Otten have been openly criticised for their poor performances in this particular game.

Admittedly, his 10 disposals does include 2 goals. He spent more time on the ground this week, at 86% (up from 79%), probably dictated by Pizza Boy's early departure.

His tackle count (3) wasn't as high as he usually achieves, but he did manage to achieve 4x inside-50s (3rd highest for any Crows player - behind Tippett & Mackay).

Defensive Forward - did a good job on Murphy too in first half - sure Murphy's stats look good, but a lot of that was the short kicking in the backlines they employed in the first half - then shifted onto Boyd who he moderately shut down.

Will have to watch closely again to see when he went to Boyd and his impact.

Boyd is a gun, if he could curb his influence in anyway then I know where I'm sending him when the floodgates open (possibly) this coming week...

gave an all time great spray to Lake after his dropped mark resulted in a Tex goal.

Sensational stuff pets! :thumbsu:

Was a fantastic spray - especially since Lake gave it to Tex for missing that wide open snapshot... Watching the replay - when Tex kicked the goal to put us 10 points up - Pets ran 30 metres straight to Lake to let him know all about it...

Tend to agree with the commentators.. needs to actually achieve something at this level before he mouths off like that.

I thought it was a w***erish comment from brereton actually.

Clearly there was alot of verbal going on- both ways. Petrenko was obviously sticking up for a team mate, who cares where his career is at, and lake has spuded it up for the last couple of years anyway.

Winners are grinners.
