I really don’t understand some of these trade evaluations. IF (and it’s a very big if) we manage to get pick 2 from WCE, that would be a straight swap for JHF in my opinion. Anything extra would be overs quite frankly. He was valued at pick 1, he’s now valued at pick 2 as he’s publicly unhappy and wants to leave.

It’s definitely possible it doesn’t get done. The haul of picks required by north is enormous. We will be doing everything possible to do it, but unfortunately that’s the problem with a contracted player. Now I actually think north are pragmatic about the situation and would like to get it done to avoid the distraction next year, but they won’t bend over.

I truly believe the most north will ever get for JHF is this trade period. Would be to be very stubborn not to do a trade.

Will be one north fans look back on and say “if only we just did that trade” if it falls through

I’m trying to gather my thoughts at musings going on here. Why would any best 22 player for us in their prime years agree to go to Nth or WC as part of the deal? Nth you would think are 5 years away from thinking about being contenders. Probably almost put WC in the same basket. So unless you’re young and extremely home sick I can’t a reason why those names are even discussed.

Yeah I am done too. You won’t change any one’s mind and when you sit back and realise nothing you say will alter the outcome it’s not worth the effort. There are crows posters with genuine mental illnesses in there too. Good luck to them and I imagine if it gets done that I will go back and have a little chat then.

Common sense doesn't exist over there, its more or less become a vent thread for North supporters and by extension oppo supporters in general who have an axe to grind with port.

Every second post is either factually wrong, or misleading, or just downright delusional.
