That entire thread of theirs is a absolute disgrace. They should be ashamed of themselves. Yes be angry that he left, but to wish harm or death on the kid is a disgrace. Apparently Horne-Francis Instagram account copped the same vitriol from them.

Based on the people in the know on BigFooty, this deal was always going to get done. Still I'm extra happy it's been done early. No need to keep hammering the F5 button. Now I can move onto other important footy things, like bagging Hinkley. On that note, sack Hinkley.

This is the amazing part of this deal. We were constantly told we didn’t have enough currency. It has to be a good player to get it done etc. but what ports list managers did was find out what other clubs goals were, starting with north and west coast, and pulled together a group of clubs that managed to see all of those goals achieved. It wasn’t about winning a trade, it was about finding ground for everyone. That’s a special skill and one that I think other clubs will look to work with port in the future.
The thing with Rowe and Crows fans is not even hope that we lose the trade. It's flat out hope and praying that the trade falls through and doesn't happen.
It's bizarre. They act as if JHF is theirs for whatever reason. Legit more sad about the JHF trade happening than acquiring Rankine.

Glad that we got this done in the end, now let's get him working and get him to being the best he can be.
Through this process it was clear that none of our players wanted to leave and we kept our young group together, which nodes well for our culture and moving forward.
Also we have a future midfield of Rozee, Butters, JHF as well of still not having the best out of Mead, Bergman and Sinn.
