I can't actually recall a time when players acted so incredibly unprofessionally on social media in the wake of something like this. North are truly some shit tier club with a loser culture. They run a tight ship down at Norf.
Number 1 pick up and leaving after 1 year does get the melts everywhere.
My personal favourite was "I hope when he eventually gets a root its a North Melbourne supporter and she gives him crabs"
The youth of today it is school holidays! Does that say more about JHF or skanky Norf fangirls

It's actually pretty gross. I'm sure you know as you commented but for others, Farang is what Thai's call foreigners. The 69 part of it draws images that he's a sleezy fat old man running through the Pattaya bar scene. But that's not even the worst part. He's also a WCE supporter. Yuuuck.
I haven’t even had time to bask in this bit of glory- finally after decades of never being able to land a really high rated young star, the Cows get their man and celebrate wildly for 3 hours until we p!ss on their parade and trump them with a much better get.
And when they recover from that feeling that we have stolen their thunder, it starts to dawn on them that we only got JHF because they committed to Rankine. We had half the draft capital they had. They probably had players prepared to go to North. In a two horse race, they were a shoe in. Worse, because they committed to Rankine, they couldn’t drive up JHF’s price, meaning we got a pretty good deal.
I bet it was only after the Cows declared for Rankine that we were able tell JHF that if he nominated us, we were in a position to make the trade.
Even on what should be their proudest day, the Cows must be looking at their list managers and asking, “How did you guys let JHF get away?”.

JHF, Rankine and Jackson the 3 biggest deals done, all moving home after Covid affected periods away from home. Reckon covid has had an affect, especially on the later two wanting to move back home. Not the main driver but contributed in varying degrees to people wanting to move back home.

I admit I didn't think a 4, 5, 6 club mega trade would work. Too many moving parts, too much club selfishness.
Then we had a perfect storm of clubs with specific needs who all saw wins for themselves from the trade.
The AFL even did us a favour by denying our moving out two future picks. The other clubs threw picks at us to make sure the deal would be accepted.
Still think Port and North played it beautifully when they said they would meet Monday afternoon to discuss an isolated trade. The other clubs didn't want to miss out and sorted it before then.
