WTF? I tune out due to boredom for one morning and now wer're into Carlisle???
Unlike Frawley, this guy can swing forward and kick bags. His best is elite. My Essendon supporting mates rated him much higher than Hooker and Hurley when he was 21. He has lost the plot a bit over the mess at Essendon the last 2 seasons. I back our system and coaching to get his head right.

If true, congratulations to you guys for pulling it off. Whilst it must be said that the prospect of an "instant flag" is a massive drawing factor for any player, it is still an absolutely savage trade move. Harsh, but demands respect with the way you've been getting it done for the better part of five or so years.

I'd rather Carlisle go to you lads than let pick 5 go to them. Besides, you're not any competition to us as we're at different ends of the scale, and a 4-peat would be interesting to see, as a football fan.

if only Carlisle was a decent human i would be happy.... great acquisition to off load the loss of Jed... but its clear Jed isn't happy with the Family club, so he can move on.... Only requires Carlisle to change his destination club, and show an about face... given Carlisles shit attitude, Im sure he will roll over and come to Hawthorn....

No doubt has unbelievable untapped talent. Despite hating the Hawks I'm actually happy to see what he could become in a great environment.
All just a force to get the Saints to part with pick 5 I think. Dodoro will be using, and likely leaking, our interest to get St Kilda to sh*t bricks and cough up 5. Relax Saints, you will get Carlisle and give up 5 to do it. The only way this might back fire is if Elshaug and Baines (sp??) see through Dodoro for what he is doing (and what he is which is a narcissistic douche of the highest order) and tell him to jam it up his a*se.
If that happens and we land Carlisle it will be huge for us. He may have been a d*ck in the past but our system and leadership will sort him out. He is a true swingman but only as a stay at home forward and besides he will have a defensive spot locked down if he wants it.

I only doubt this because, just earlier today, Richmond were allegedly circling. The people who know the goings on within St Kilda back on that board shot this down, and it was soon after shot down by the media who initially reported it. That was almost certainly a ploy by Dodoro, whereas this seems to have far more legs and is apparently legitimate. I'd be disappointed if St Kilda fold and pay overs; I'd rather let him go to you, and leave the off chance that it is, in fact, rubbish, and potentially still get him cheaply...
