Is Anderson's manager a freelance agent or is he the mouthpiece for Anderson? Anything the manager says has been spoken at the dinner table with Anderson on many occasions. He wants out to play AFL. It's as it always goes, trade him now and get pick 40 or get nothing next year.
huh, explain why we would get nothing next year?

AFL.com.au's Trade Winds will provide a round-up of the latest movement every morning until the end of the Trade Period on Thursday October 22.

If we can't get a pick in the top 20 or 25, I wouldn't trade him. He has a year left so maybe he will play more next year and will be keen to stay. Imo fair value is 15 to 20 or a player of that worth
Fair enough if Essendon get a second rounder I would be more than happy to swap it for Anderson. Jedd would get a game every week at Essendon.

Would rather keep him and try to talk him into staying long term risking him going for nothing next year than taking a crappy draft pick for him.

Would the Hawks be interested in Schofield?

196cm back. Just lost Lake and Suckling from the backline.

Then they are tight for cap space I've read and needs picks for the draft.

With the luck you've had when it comes to key defenders I'm not sure you would want to be letting them go willy nilly.

Top 10pick for rubbish VFL player. It's cray cray season.

There's a massive difference between getting into a triple winning premiership side then what it is playing for a wooden spoon club. Yet that still hasn't stopped blues posters rating Yarran's value as a first round draft pick and that for a bloke who couldn't get into the best players for the Northern Bullants, one of the worst VFL sides going around.

Anderson, on the other hand, was the Box Hill Hawks best player in their VFL Grand Final team.

His not getting in hawks 22 and he knows it.
why not, just lost suckling who played the high HFF wing role in our finals team. There is a spot up for grabs between Anderson, Whitecross, Hurtang, & Langford.

Still plat!g the man i see LOL

I'm prepared to be disappointed at what we receive for Black, don't think it will be much different for Jed.

The best thing about Aaron Black - is i cant remember if you got him in the David Hale or josh Gibson trade?
And which trade was Keiran Harper involved in???

Good night muppett!

Hartung is 1st up then Langford I'd say. His down the pecking order.
If we told you Langford would struggle for a game after last years finals series you would of called bullshit to that as well.
things can change, you might be right you might be wrong. But saying he wont like you can see the future is a bit daft...

And possibility of yarran too. Langford will bounce back.

If the Gold Coast get Port Adelaide's first round draft pick for Dixon then that is the pick Hawthorn should target.

Otherwise, just keep him. Anderson is a much better player then anything that will be 20+ in this year's draft.

Pick 40 is pretty much a nothing pick in this year's draft anyway, so you have to up the ante or you won't get him (this year)

How many times do we have to go through the same situation before people realise that being under contract means nothing. Nobody wants a disgruntled player at their club and Anderson wants out to play AFL. Hawks will be trading him this year and will accept unders. Hawks either clear out a spot for him in the 22 or trade him.

You mean like Schoenmaker last year when he was looking to move and Adelaide made him an offer, but ultimately he decided to stay?

At the moment, the most disguntled person at Hawthorn is Billy Hartung. By a country mile.
