I like it. Clearly Freo think Hogan is worth what they offer, Melb say we want a better offer, freo say nah and move on. Nothing wrong with that.

They do what they think is best for the club and at the same time screw over Melbourne. Kind of amusing really how badly they wanted May and now can’t. Hogan will play that entire season knowing that really, the club had no issues with him moving on.

Sorry I just buy this whole "must be more to it", they get him over to tour facilities, put him through a medical and then offered a ridiculous low bid for pick 11 and a 2nd round next year ... why bloody offer that at all if he has so called "failed" a medical. I dont buy it, Freo have just wasted everyone's time IMO key power forwards just dont fall into your lap.

Freo are clearly annoyed and want maximum for Neale and give nothing for Hogan. Living in fantasy land down at Freo

Still a lot of trade week left. People are triggering left right and center. How will BF survive
What? Are you suggesting Peter Bell is dicking Melbourne around for fun? The 11 + Second Rounder offer was already reported as a 'final offer', and now Bell has announced Fremantle are pulling out.

They're not coming back.

Ross would already be pissed off, he basically said he wanted Bennell for as long as he could get him, gets him resigned for a year and 3 months later the rank amateur Bell is trying to delist Bennell in some kind of power play.
About time Lyon someone down at Freo stood up to Ross.
The decisions to offer new contracts to Sandi, Ballas and Bennell were lousy.

Ha ha Freo as if you were not bad enough, guess they have Taberner.

I know Bell is new but he does know you supposed to improve the list doesn't he?
Chase a bloke for 4 years, get an opportunity and let it slip, laughing stock.

Salty? LOL, it's the best news, I don't want Hogan to leave and I've stated already I don't believe the crap that we're better without him. I also don't want May, I think he's overrated

Nice try though ;)

I actually think Melbourne (not you as a supporter) have a hard on for May and have made thag quite clear. Everyone outside of Melbourne can also see you are much stronger with May in and Hogan out.

And Freo know that. Thats why they can drive a hard bargain. High risk move but I reckon Melbourne will cave to get May otherwise he going to Pies which they dont want

Without Neale they barely have a midfield. They probably figure they need to work on that first

I think you're right, but I just don't get it. You can get a decent Key defender to play that role for a much cheaper price than May.

But Melbourne won't cave, happy to take that to the bank

Jesse Hogan will go into next year knowing the dees wanted to flip him and try take advantage of his delicate situation. He won’t resign and he’ll most likely leave next season. Probably not to Freo but still.

Why do people think injuries and recoveries are a black or white thing?

Nobody knows how players will recover from an injury like this.

There’s clearly a genuine risk there. Therefore Freo will take a risk, but are only willing to offer less and aren’t willing to pay a huge price such as multiple first rounders. It’s just basic common sense.

He might come good, there’s clearly a good chance he won’t.

Be interesting to see how we handle Freo when they come to us about Andrew Brayshaw requesting a trade to Melbourne to play with his brother. See if we low ball them back.
Hopefully Hoges realises that we value him more then Dockers and commits to us long term now. Guy is a superstar!

Melbourne fans are salty at Freo, shows how much they wanted to dump him.

Good move on freo’s behalf, very big chance that Lukosius or a King will be there at #5.
No one wants to dump him, we are just sick of the inevitable go home factor every year, not helped by your pathetic club dangling long term contracts in his face.

Hope he stays and wins a premiership with us, no doubt you'll stuff up the Lobb trade aswell
