Freo just spewed all over themselvesSorry I just buy this whole "must be more to it", they get him over to tour facilities, put him through a medical and then offered a ridiculous low bid for pick 11 and a 2nd round next year ... why bloody offer that at all if he has so called "failed" a medical. I dont buy it, Freo have just wasted everyone's time IMO key power forwards just dont fall into your lap.
Freo are clearly annoyed and want maximum for Neale and give nothing for Hogan. Living in fantasy land down at Freo
Jesse Hogan will go into next year knowing the dees wanted to flip him and try take advantage of his delicate situation. He won’t resign and he’ll most likely leave next season. Probably not to Freo but still.
Inb4 we re-start negotiations next wednesday.

Still don't see how WC would satisfy Melbourne with the picks we have.Well that's why I mentioned Duggan. I think Melbourne would be open to one of West Coast's Victorian players, or maybe a 3-way deal for something.
Fremantle missed out because Peter Bell has become the new Dodoro. If West Coast were somehow prepared to make a fair and respectable offer, I think Melbourne would accept and Hogan would gladly go there. He would be filthy with Fremantle now.
The sticking point is whether Hogan plans on leaving next year. If he does, Melbourne run the risk of Collingwood swooping in next year and taking May. There is every chance Melbourne lose Hogan next year and don't get May. I don't think the Pies have the currency to get a deal done this year but Melbourne will would if they offloaded Hogan. Anyway I'm dissapointed weve supposedly pulled out, Trade week isn't over yet.I actually think Melbourne (not you as a supporter) have a hard on for May and have made thag quite clear. Everyone outside of Melbourne can also see you are much stronger with May in and Hogan out.
And Freo know that. Thats why they can drive a hard bargain. High risk move but I reckon Melbourne will cave to get May otherwise he going to Pies which they dont want
I doubt that will be the case, but Brander looks a good prospect at either end. As the year progressed Oscar Allen really started looking the goods and I think he'll be an excellent player. It's too early to compare them to Hogan, but Allen will at least compete IMO.It's just that I know some WCE will say they're fine for Kennedy's successor, and that those two will be 700+ goal champions.
Well he is a lawyer.
Why do people think injuries and recoveries are a black or white thing?
Nobody knows how players will recover from an injury like this.
There’s clearly a genuine risk there. Therefore Freo will take a risk, but are only willing to offer less and aren’t willing to pay a huge price such as multiple first rounders. It’s just basic common sense.
He might come good, there’s clearly a good chance he won’t.
Doubt the foot is a big issue. They caught it early, he's already walking and will be back running soon. Half the league has had stress injuries at some stage of their career. Not at all. It lines up perfectly with why Melbourne are finally willing to ship him after so many years of fighting off all comers.
The foot is clearly a very, very risky proposition.
What? Are you suggesting Peter Bell is dicking Melbourne around for fun? The 11 + Second Rounder offer was already reported as a 'final offer', and now Bell has announced Fremantle are pulling out.
They're not coming back.
Peter Bell came out and categorically said Fremantle have PULLED OUT.Reported by one media person who jumped the gun. We don’t have any other picks to use yet.
Wait for Neale to get done then see what happens
What's the bet this is just a dumb bluff and as a result, Fremantle fold and offer pick 5 (for Neale) and future 1st rounder.
You'd be lucky if Hogan agrees to deal with your club ever again. He would be pissed right off.
Absolute rabble, no wonder Neale wants to get the hell out of the club, Freo for years have played the "we want to get good home talent back into our team" line and when they finally do they trip over their own feet.
Unbelieveable !!
