Well that's why I mentioned Duggan. I think Melbourne would be open to one of West Coast's Victorian players, or maybe a 3-way deal for something.

Fremantle missed out because Peter Bell has become the new Dodoro. If West Coast were somehow prepared to make a fair and respectable offer, I think Melbourne would accept and Hogan would gladly go there. He would be filthy with Fremantle now.

I'm very happy but I think it's hilarious that everyone (fans included) at Freo having been chasing him for years, the club are prepared to pay him a massive salary and when they're finally in a position to get him they pull out.
