White's manager is on Trade radio now. Says that he's confident White will get to the Pies but it might be in about a week's time. Worth a late 2nd/early 3rd rounder.

I assume the Pies don't want to give Sydney the current 2nd round pick so would need to do another deal to get an appropriate draft pick, eg the GWS 3rd round pick.

You need to be able to mark over head to be an effective forward, something Fraser could not do.

He was a ruckman but when he did his PCL twice in quick succession he fell away.

The most disappointing thing about Fraser is that arguably his best AFL game wasn't in black and white (or Red and yellow), but in the Victorian State of Origin match in 2007.

Question is whether he is worth a 2nd or 3rd rounder.

Let's hope 3rd. I would like to keep the 2nd because I reckon Ricky Henderson may be available with that 2nd rounder because Crows may yet orchestrate the deal for Polec with that pick.

Otherwise I reckon Garlett may still be hovering around that pick and I'd take the punt at pick 27!

Remember though that pick 27 will probably float out into the 30's after compo picks are finalised. So it's really not that valubale a pick.

If it takes 2nd rounder to get Jessie I'd do it...but I reckon Sydney will bend over on this one eventually. The only reason Jessie wants out is beceause the Swans recruited Buddy and there is no room left in the forward line. They pushed him out, so doubt they will play hardball.

The third rounder will get it done, its a fait acomplis that he'll be at Collingwood in 2014, and Sydney don't have much bargaining power as they need to free up the space and he is only dealing with us. The only reason we'd use our second round is if some steak knife were thrown in but I'd rather we not do that.

I rather White then Garlett. You just can't 100% say that he will stay on the Straight and Narrow.

It is a shallow draft. By all accounts. I would let him walk to the draft for anything lower then 40 (keep in mind of the priority picks) as well.

We did not get Jolly for unders. A 1st and 3rd rounder for a aging ruckmen who only offered us 2 good years was not unders. I would say it was a little overs, but given the 2010 premiership and Jollly's importance to it, it was a win win in the end.

I dont think any other clubs will pick him up. He is not a good enough player to justify picking him when he does not want to play for you. In saying that i think a deal will be done. I reckon you will end up getting GWS 3rd rounder that will be obtained from the Shaw/Adams deals.
